Demolition of existing house and erection of a new dwelling

We were approached by our client to assist them in applying for consent for the demolition of a rundown property in a Conservation Area in Wimbledon Village and the erection of a replacement dwelling.

The application was unexpectedly complicated when the Local Authority listed the property after it had been substantially demolished. Following protracted negotiations with the Local Authority the demolition was approved.

The final design will maximise the dwelling within the constraints of the site under a formal planning application.
